Happy Valentine's Day!

My adorable niece Genevieve and my daddy, Mr. Ed. So cute!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Miss Cricket is taking her sweet time entering the world, but it is still a day to celebrate. God's love for you is abundant! He loves you, he loves me, and he loves all the babies here and on their way!

I was SO hoping to meet our baby girl this weekend. My heart aches to meet this little wonder, but I am praying hard to have a right and quiet spirit as I wait. Our God is mighty and perfect in his timing. He gave me this verse today and it has made all the difference.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB)

Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life, my best friend, and a man I respect with all my heart. Mr. Schalk you still make my heart pitter-patter.

  3. She will be here soon enough, but it is hard to wait at the end. You just want them here and to be able to cuddle them! Praying that all goes well and that you don't have to wait too long! xxoo

  4. God knows how much rest you are going to need, so I understand why he gave you this verse today Rachel. That is a verse that comes back to me over and over in my life. (I can get a little impatient at times-hate to admit that but it's true)

    Cannot wait to meet your sweet bundle.
