Mr. Schalk captures local bridges on a snowy day.
I love the pop of red and green against the dull winter neutrality. My man has a good eye!
And now a story....
Mr. Schalk's Snowy Morning

This is Mr. Schalk and his crazy sidekick Bonnie.

While at the Rhine homestead a couple weeks back they took a snowy morning walk.

Up the lane they went. Can you spot the pup? She sure blends in, doesn't she?

Through the snowy trees the morning was quiet and full of God's beauty. Bunnies hid and deer slept while Mr. Schalk and his pup continued their hike.

Winter reds popped among the cool whites of the season.

Off again, back to the homestead. The little pup again leads the way.

Home again,, home again, jiggity jig!

P.S. Happy slightly early birthday Mr. Schalk! You are the most amazing, thoughtful, funny, interesting man ever! I hope you have a wonderful year. You deserve all the blessings God has in store for you. I can't wait to see your journey as you follow His will. I'm so proud to have you as my husband and the daddy of our little baby. She is sooooo lucky to have you as her daddy! Have a wonderful birthday, my love!!!
