Merry Christmas Cricket!

Dear Cricket,

This is your first Christmas, although you are still in my tummy growing and moving all around. It has turned out to be a gorgeous Christmas season with lots of snow beautiful lights. Your daddy has made our house glow inside and out. He is quite skilled at putting up just the right amount of Christmas lights. Next year we hope to add a couple more touches, but I love how our home looks right now! He did a fantastic job!

We are so excited to meet you baby girl. In a matter of weeks we will bring you home and begin our journey as your parents. What an honor! God has handpicked you to be part of our family and we could not be happier. 2011 will be a year of many firsts for you and for us. Your eyes will grow big in wonder as you grow and learn new sights, smells and tastes. What a joy for your daddy and me to watch you as you experience life for the first time.

Merry Christmas miss Cricket! We absolutely adore you! Each movement and jab (ouch!) and flip is a reminder of your sweet presence. I can hardly go five minutes without rubbing my hand across my belly just to say "hi" to you. We are so anxious to meet you face to face.

We can't wait to bring you home sweetheart. Jesus loves you and so do we!
