I had a little helper this weekend in the kitchen. The Chief was my kitchen buddy as we worked on Mr. Schalk's birthday dessert while Big Sister napped. He was quite interested in the beaters turning wildly as we made the meringues for Mr. Schalk's frozen lemon meringue cake. I can't blame him - it was pretty exciting. What a guy!
