She would have jumped in the water if Daddy were not there to hold her hand. He guided her back to safe land. She is fearless. I suppose that is, in part, because she knows her Daddy is right beside her. As my Mama told me a while back, "It is easy to be brave when you feel safe."
Thank you, darling Cricket, for that life lesson. May I remember that my Heavenly Daddy is beside me in all circumstances, giving me strength when I need it most. God cares for me and wants me to be brave in Him. He wants me to lean on Him, on his Truth and rest in His love. He wants that for you, too. For all of you. May you rest in the peace of God's strong arms today, and always.
