| Fairy Cricket! |
 |
| Would you believe Cricket started this morning out in tears for no apparent reason? Aww, nothing a little paper plate hat won't shake off. |
 |
| Hi pretty girl! We borrowed this dress from our friend Kaleena and had a festive Independence Day! |
 |
I couldn't help myself. She may have grandpa fuzz on top, but she's got just enough mullet hair on the bottom to make baby pigtails. Cute overload! |
 |
Like father, like daughter.

These two scarf hummus faster than lightning. Chickpeas are a good source of iron, and since Cricket thinks meat is weird I let her to eat as much hummus as she wants. She gets one chip and double dips to her heart's desire. Mmmm!
(p.s. We've tried several varieties and found our favorite to be the Trader Joe's Organic Hummus.....soooo good and all familiar ingredients!)

| This is the her reaction as soon as I let Bonnie dog in the bathroom. Usually Bonnie stays clear for fear that she is next in line for a bath. Cricket only wishes Bonnie would join her in the bath time festivities. |

| Playing cars with Daddy. Fun times! |
That's what we've been up to lately. Enjoy the simple things with love, purpose and grateful hearts.
About A Cupcake for Moose
Combining my childhood nickname of “Moose” and a sincere passion for all things sweet, A Cupcake for Moose was formed in 2009. Follow along this Midwesterners joyful, slightly dorky, always unique perspective on life as I seek to glorify God through photos, stories, recipes and laughter. With my wild at heart husband, Mr. Schalk, our two babies, "Cricket" and "Chief", and our crazy pup, Bonnie, it is sure to be an adventure!
