Happy Easter from our family to yours! My normally happy baby is having an "off" day. I'm chalking it up to being super excited that her Jesus has risen! Because that is the truth...and it's so much better than blaming teeth or Bonnie's bad breath or any other reason she is a wee bit cranky pants.
Here's hoping my sweet girl is back to her chipper self after her nap. We have a day of celebrating Jesus, Easter baskets and relaxing on this beautiful Spring day ahead of us. I have a feeling she'll be happy-go-lucky again in no time. How could you not be happy? It's a glorious day!
Happy Easter, friends!
All kinds of love, Rachel
Now if
we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we
know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again;
death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin
once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way,
count yourselves dead to sin but
alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:8-11
About A Cupcake for Moose
Combining my childhood nickname of “Moose” and a sincere passion for all things sweet, A Cupcake for Moose was formed in 2009. Follow along this Midwesterners joyful, slightly dorky, always unique perspective on life as I seek to glorify God through photos, stories, recipes and laughter. With my wild at heart husband, Mr. Schalk, our two babies, "Cricket" and "Chief", and our crazy pup, Bonnie, it is sure to be an adventure!

ReplyDeletewhat a great picture! naomi had a very off day today too--and i'm going to blame it on teething. :) i literally just told andrew that i'm going to pray tonight that she wakes up in a better mood tomorrow, it is so draining when you are used to a pretty easy going baby. :)
ReplyDeletehappy easter, dear!
