Every day she watches me take out my orthotics from my work shoes and put them in my slippers. Such a sweet observer. She wants to copy everything we do. Oh, it makes me chuckle!
It didn't take long for her to figure out how to help me with this daily task. At least, the taking out part. She pulls and tugs those goofy flat feet helpers out of my shoes. Then, she carries them around like treasure.
Sometimes they land in the garden like they did this fine Spring day. Perhaps, I should have taken them away before that happened. Instead, I took a picture. It was too nice of a day to worry over the little things. Besides, dirt brushes off. It's the memories I want to keep.
Isn't that why we take pictures?
This is our everyday and it is quite messy, and silly and...
...pure magic.
