Nothing like ringing in the first "summer" day of the year with pizza on the porch. In April, no less!You would think it was June the way this weekend felt. Gloriously warm temperatures and immense sunshine. It was wonderful! Mr. Schalk spent part of the weekend installing a back up sump pump to make us safe and sound during the unpredictable Midwestern storms. He is amazing and really takes care of us! I love that man! Glad he took a break to go to the hockey game...yeah go Ice!
To end the breathtaking weekend we ordered our favorite pizzas from Bazbeaux. Fresh, crispy and oh-so-yummy! The Roma and Margherita are so tasty they don't even need sauce. Seriously, they are that good!Hope you all had lovely weekends! Looking forward to sharing some yummy recipes with you all this week.
