Winter at The Lake

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of heading up to the lake for a long weekend. It was cold, snowy and perfect! It's been a LONG winter of storms, snow and frigid temperatures. It was nice to retreat to a place of fun with family where the snow is exciting and the temps happily bearable.

Playing in her "workshop" - This and a fun monster bowling game kept Cricket more than entertained all weekend. It's always exciting to have special toys at your grandparents house to play with. I remember my grandmother had a special toy box with an orange lid that was loaded with toys and dolls. Good memories. xo

Awww, hi buddy! This was the Chief's first time to the lake. Although, he is too little to enjoy the snowy lake I am sure he had a blast. Smooch!

Happy birthday ice cream to Miss Cricket. Yes, it was a week from her 3rd birthday. What a bright light of joy in our lives. Love you, darling! xoxoxo

The lake was great and we really loved watching the kiddos play with their grandparents. Admittedly, we are anxious for summer at the lake where we can strip the coats and hats and relax in the warm sunshine. However, we are grateful for visits any season with good company and sweet memories.
